Tomorrow is the new year of Sinhalese and Hindus in Sri Lanka.  People celebrate it from the ancient times. They prepare special foods like kavum, kokis, aluwaa, welithalapa things like that.

People organize New Year festivals. There are various sports at New Year festival.
